Honolulu Community College will be the host site for the Fall 2014 Hawai‘i Small Business Fair. The free one-day event will feature more than 23 workshops and over 30 exhibits from federal, state and local agencies and participating non-profit organizations.

“Sponsored in partnership with local, state and federal organizations, these free workshops and exhibits are a great opportunity for small business owners and future business owners to learn how to grow or even start their businesses,” says Joseph Burns, Center Director for the Hawai‘i Small Business Development Center Network.


Attendees will enjoy a wide range of workshop topics that include: Financing Options, Forming and Registering your Business; Secrets of Marketing; Social Media Marketing, Federal Income Taxes, and Copyrights, Patents, and Trademarks, to name a few. One-on-one business counseling will also be offered.


Event participants include the US Small Business Administration, Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism, Small Business Development Center (SBDC), ‘Ewa Beach Community Based Development Organization, Internal Revenue Service, Bank of Hawai‘i, and the Business Action Center, Office of Hawaiian Affairs, and Honolulu Community College among many others.
